2 ALARM FIRE IN WYOMING

9/22/07: 2 Alarm Fire, 1528 Hours. Grass fire started a fire in multiple waste oil drums stored behind Wyoming Automotive at 517 Wyoming Ave. Minimal involvement in the structure also. Initial firefighting efforts were hampered by live power lines that were involved in the fire. 2nd alarm called due to structural involvement. Damage $10,000.

FATAL CRASH ON KILBY RD NEAR DRY FORK RD IN WHITEWATER TWP

9/18/07: A Cleves man is killed in a head-on collision. According to investigators, John Pierson, 45, crossed the center line on the 6700 block of Kilby Road in Whitewater Township around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday. His Mercury Sable collided with a Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck. Pierson was pronounced dead at the scene. His step-son and longtime girlfriend later consoled one another near the crash scene.  They told Local 12 it was hard to believe that Pierson was gone. The other driver, Keith Cornelius, 52, suffered only minor injuries. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash, according to investigators. (wkrc.com)

MORNING HOUSE FIRE IN THE 79's FIRST DUE

9/18/07: Fire crews from three communities battled a blaze this morning that heavily damaged a home on Fountainebleau Terrace. No injuries were reported in the 7:14 a.m. fire in the 8700 block of Fountainebleau Terrace off of Winton Road. Damage was estimated at $75,000. The cause of the fire has not been determined. Fire crews are on the scene from Springfield Township, Mount Healthy and North College Hill.

MULTIPLE VEHICLE CRASH ON NB I-275 IN WHITEWATER INJURIES 3

9/18/07: Squad 95 and Engine 105 were dispatched to NB I-275 between Kilby Rd exit and I-74 Exits for MVC with entrapment. Units find the crash at the 24 mile marker with multiple vehicles involved and several injuries. No entrapment. Victims were triaged and additional EMS units dispatched to the scene for transport. The Highway was closed for about an hour for clean up and HCSO investigation.

FATAL CRASH ON HARRISON AVE IN WHITEWATER - ONE EJECTED DURING ROLL OVER

9/14/07: Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputies said a man from the Ukraine was killed in a car accident that happened early Friday morning. Deputies said Nathaniel Hurley's car flipped on its top and trapped him inside in the 9700 block of Harrison Avenue around 2:30 a.m. A passenger, Roman Nedopako, 21, was thrown from the car. A medical helicopter was called in to take Hurley, 27, to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Nedopako was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies said he was in the U.S. on a work visa, working for Murray Brothers Shows as a ride operator. Deputies will continue to investigate what caused the crash, but said alcohol or drugs were likely involved. Hurley has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide. (wlwt.com)

WORKING FIRE IN SEVEN HILLS FOR THE 75's

9/16/07: Fire destroyed a house on Sevenhills Drive in Springfield Township Saturday. Police said there was no one in the house at the time. The house was engulfed when fire crews arrived about 12:20 a.m. No damage estimate was available. (Enquirer.com)
