          On Wednesday November 14, 2007, Cincinnati Firefighters Union Local 48 will host a District Meeting for all Fourth District Locals.  In attendance will be the Officers and Staff of the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters to discuss recent activities and concerns of the State Association.  IAFF 8^th District Vice President Tom Miller will be in attendance as well to give an update of activities of the IAFF.

          Make arraignments now to attend.  This is the final meeting of the District for 2007 and our Brothers & Sisters in Cincinnati have quite an event planned.  Local 48’s Secretary-Treasurer, Joe Gunnewick is in charge of the event and can be reached by cellular phone at 513-617-9110.  Please RSVP by Friday November 9th so that adequate plans can be made for meals & beverages!

Please join us for our 2nd annual Charity Golf Outing. Proceeds will benefit the Children’s Hospital Mayerson Center for Safe and Healthy Children and the Harrison Professional Fire Fighters Charity Fund.

Registration is limited to the first 120 golfers.  The cost per person is $75.00 this includes your golfing, cart, chicken dinner, chance for a door prize and a gift bag.   

 (Alcoholic refreshments must be purchased at the golf course)

Prizes for 1^st place, 2^nd place, 3^rd place, closest to the pin, longest drive, and longest putt.

Maybe you would like to attend our chicken dinner around 5:30pm and not golf.  A dinner ticket can be purchased for $20.00 a person which includes your meal a non-alcoholic beverage, a gift bag, a chance to win a door prize.
