Fire Station 40

10500 Reading Road - Evendale

Staffing: 8 firefighters per day

History: Established on 4/13/1959 as a full-time FD consisting of 11 firefighters. Equipment included 59' Pirsch aerial truck & 59' Prisch pumper. Total calls that year 79. EMS started in 1970 and upgraded to ALS in 1995. Today -24 full-time firefighters, 1 chief, & 1 administrative assistant.

Fire Station 43

Staffing: 2 firefighters

History: Station 43 is named after William Cohn Jr., who was fire chief of the Forest Park Volunteer Fire Dept. This station was used to house the Greater Cincinnati Hazardous Materials Response Unit HQ.

History: Founded in 1938 at the original Endicott Street location.  Moved to Winton Road location in May 1963.

Staffing: 3 firefighters - 24 hours and 1 M-F days. Shift supervisor, Inspector, Admin staff, & Chief officers.

History: Open in 1992, it was converted from an auto dealership to Green Township's Administration, Police, Fire, & Maintenance complex. Serving one of the fastest growing areas in Hamilton County. In 2005 Green Township had 40 FT firefighters, 38 PT firefighters. EMS calls 4,216 and 1,539 Fire Calls.

Fire Station 54

5911 Bridgetown Rd - Green Township

First Due Response: Bridgetown, Mack, & 11 schools including Ohio's largest high school (Oak Hills-3,400 students & staff). Under the final approach for the North/South runways at CVG. Glenway Ave business district.

Staffing: 5 firefighters - 24 hours and 1 M-F days

History: Built in 1944 by Mack VFD. In 2001 the station was relocated and named in honor of Pete Rebold, long time GTFD and Mack VFD supporter/activist.

Fire Station 55

5410 Audro Rd - Green Township

First Due Response: Monfort Heights, White Oak, & Mt. Airy. I-74 from Cincinnati Corp Line to I-275/74 interchange.

Staffing: 5 firefighters - 24  hours

History: Open in 1950's by Mack VFD. Paul Englehart only Mack VFD (Green Twp) firefighter killed in the line of duty in the early 1960's. 1967 the station was moved to its current location. Largest of Green Township's four fire districts (Area & Population).

History: Station was originally the New Burlington Fire Department which contracted with Springfield Township for fire and EMS in the first due area.

History: Northern Hills Fire Department provided Fire & EMS by contract to Springfield Township for its first due area. In 1996 Northern Hills and New Burlington FD's became Springfield Township Fire Department.

History: Covedale was protected by Delhi VFD until Station 107 was built in 1977 by Mack VFD. Station named in honor of 107's Captain George Zorick III, who perished at the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire (as a patron).
